Morrissey has shared "Wedding Bell Blues", a cover featuring Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, from his forthcoming California Son album.
"Wedding Bell Blues" was originally written by Laura Nyro in 1966, and became a hit for 5th Dimension in 1969.
Morrissey's forthcoming California Son covers album also features his cover of Roy Orbison's "It’s Over", and his cover of Jobriath's "Morning Starship" featuring Grizzly Bear's Ed Droste.
The record will also feature collaborations with Ariel Engle of Broken Social Scene, Lydia Night of The Regrettes, and more.
"Wedding Bell Blues" is out now. California Son arrives 24 May via Etienne Records/BMG. Morrissey will play some shows in Canada this month. Find out more.
