Sexuality has long been one of the things that Morrissey remained elusive about, with many speculating over his orientation recently after the publication of his memoirs.
Coming out on Penguin Classics last week, the former Smiths man discusses in Autobiography a romantic-tinged relationship with one Jake Owen Walters, comparing them to both lovers and brothers.
Now, however, he’s released a statement to the True To You fansite clarifing matters:
“Unfortunately, I am not homosexual. In technical fact, I am humasexual,” he writes. “I am attracted to humans. But, of course … not many.”
