Morrissey cancels shows due to bleeding ulcer

Morrissey has been diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer and bladder infection, causing him to cancel a series of live dates.

The ex-Smiths frontman, who also recently postponed shows due to his mother falling ill, has been forced to scrap six shows in the U.S.

Those affected include dates in Atlanta, Nashville, Lawrence, Clear Water, Lincoln and Ashville.

The singer is expected to make a full recovery and will continue his tour from 9 February onwards in Las Vegas.
