Morrissey cancels Iceland show as venue won't cease "cannibalistic flesh-eating bloodlust"
The world's most cantankerous vegetarian has once again pulled out of a show after the venue refused to stop serving meat on the day he was due to perform.
Yes, Morrissey has axed another tour date. This time, Iceland's Harpa Concert Hall (home to Iceland Airwaves in November) is apparently the culprit, refusing to abide by his demands to stop selling/serving/shamelessly slaughtering animal products.
Morrissey fanzine True To You has reported the news, with Mozza reportedly saying: "I love Iceland and I have waited a long time to return, but I shall leave the Harpa Concert Hall to their cannibalistic flesh-eating bloodlust..."
The date has not been rescheduled or rehomed as no other venue in Reykjavik is available.
