Morrissey announces b-sides for cover of Lou Reed's “Satellite of Love”
Morrissey recently announced that he will pay tribute to the late Lou Reed with a new single release.
The former Smiths man’s take on Reed’s ”Satellite of Love” will drop as a digital download next week (2 December), with the b-sides to the release now announced.
The digital version of the singer will come with Your Arsenal track ”You’re Gonna Need Someone on Your Side”, as well as a live rendition of ”Mama Lay Softly on the Riverbed”.
The cover will be pressed on both 12″ vinyl and 7″ picture disc come 28 January, with “Mama” replaced on the 12″ by live versions of ”Vicar in a Tutu” and “All You Need Is Me” and by ”You Say You Don’t Love Me” on the picture disc.
