Molly Burch shares visuals for "To The Boys", plots European and UK tour
Molly Burch's "To The Boys" visuals arrive with news of a headline tour that will take the musician across the US, Europe, and the UK.
"To The Boys" is the second cut from Molly Burch's forthcoming sophomore album First Flower, following "Wild".
Directed by Emily Ann Hoffman, the visuals see Burch animated into a farmer, leading the animals in a stop-motion sequence.
Speaking of the video, Hoffman explains, "I loved how playful and strong the song's message was and wanted the video to have the same feeling. I liked the idea of a paper doll seeming delicate and feminine, yet standing up to a pack of mean pigs and leading a horde of animals with confidence. Molly and I had a lot of fun looking at old videos of Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton for outfit and hair inspiration for her paper doll."
First Flower will arrive nearly two years after her debut album Please Be Mine.
The sophomore record was largely written while Burch and her boyfriend and bandmate Dailey Toliver were locked inside during hurricane Harvey. She later went to record the album at Cacophony Recorders in Austin.
