Mogwai have released new single "Boltfor" ahead of their largest UK headline show at London's Alexandra Palace on 27 May.
"Boltfor" is the band's first new material of 2022, following last year's UK number one album and 2021 Scottish Album of the Year winner As The Love Continues, and lands ahead of Mogwai's Alexandra Palace show on 27 May, which will mark the group's biggest UK headline show yet.
The new song is accompanied by a Sam Wiehl-directed video, and was initially recorded during the As The Love Continues sessions at Vada Studios before being finished at Mogwai's Castle of Doom studios last month.
Earlier this month Mogwai's Stuart Braithwaite announced his forthcoming memoir Spaceships over Glasgow: Mogwai and Misspent Youth, which is due for release in September.
