Mogwai's longtime guitarist John Cummings has departed the band, it has been confirmed.
In a statement on their website, the Scottish post-rock legends wrote that Cummings has left to "pursue his own musical projects".
They add: "We will continue as a four piece of Dominic Aitchison, Stuart Braithwaite, Martin Bulloch and Barry Burns and shall be joined on our upcoming live shows by Scott Paterson and Luke Sutherland. We wish John all the best with the future."
Mogwai released career-spanning collection Central Belters earlier this year.
