Mogwai are sponsoring a local school's football team
Scottish post-rock titans Mogwai are the new kit sponsors for St. Roch's Primary and Deaf School football club.
The Roystonhill-based school shared the news on Twitter, sharing pictures of the students in their new kit with the band's name emblazoned on the front:

Mogwai's drummer Martin Bulloch told the BBC that the partnership came about after an old friend (the school's deputy head) asked for a bit of help.
"He just texted me in November and said that the kids had been at a tournament and they were in some old kit and he was looking to get them some new stuff," Bulloch told BBC Radio Scotland. "He asked if we could help out. I emailed the rest of the boys and they were delighted to do so. There is nothing in the school budget for stuff like that so you can only imagine what they were kicking around in - old kit from years ago."
Unfortunately for Mogwai fans, the strips are only available for the students (so that's a no on adult sizes).
