Mogwai announce "Central Belters" box set
Scottish post-rock luminaries, Mogwai, have announced details of their Central Belters box set; celebrating twenty years of the band's success.
The box set, containing a number of rarities and career highlights, spans the full history of the band, including material from debut LP Mogwai Young Team, through to last year's critically-acclaimed Rave Tapes. The box set will be available as either 3xCD or 6xLP via Rock Action Records, and is released 9 October.
Last night (24 June), Mogwai opened a series of ATP season events at the Roundhouse, London. As a celebration of their career, the band have handpicked a lineup of artists that have challenged or inspired them, including Public Enemy, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Lightning Bolt.
The band have also released a new video for track "Helicon 1", which you can watch below. The box set's tracklist is aftewards.
