Modest Mouse reveal artwork for new album Strangers To Ourselves
Having recently announced their upcoming sixth album, Modest Mouse have now unveiled its artwork.
The alt-rock band will release Strangers To Ourselves, their first studio album since 2007's We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank, on 3 March.
New single "Lampshades On Fire" is out this week and streaming below, but the group have also revealed the artwork for the whole LP. Check that out above.
Best Fit's Larry Day said of "Lampshades On Fire": "It's an upbeat, keys-led ditty with vocal hooks galore and squealing synths. Eastern-flecked guitars and South American woodwind blur into the commotion, with Isaac Brock's fevered staccato vox hammering through baroque-pop environs. It's a bold comeback, that's for sure."
