Moby & The Void Pacific Choir have soared back into earshot with "Almost Loved", a malevolent psych-techno tune.
With thundering ecclesiastical chants, galloping beats, and a menacing Moby seething through fuzz, its a sinister chapter in the revered producer's career, and presents his work with The Void Pacific Choir as something terrifying and fascinating in equal measure.
Any new release from Moby will follow 2013's Innocents. Interstingly, the visuals for "Almost Loved" (2:12 onwards) seem to reference the figures on the front of that album's art... how long has Moby been planning all this?
