MMOTHS mixes ambient textures with Jamie xx-y beats on new song "Para Polaris"
22-year-old Dublin producer MMOTHS has shared "Para Polaris", a new track from upcoming debut album Luneworks.
The tune links up with "Deu" and "Eva" in teasing the eagerly anticipated long-player, which follows 2013 EP Diaries.
"Para Polaris" is imbued with MMOTHS' ethereal spirit, and is full of contorted ambient textures and smoky atmospheres. The clickety-clackety percussion that echoes in the foreground is reminiscent of Jamie xx's recent work, but this track is designed less for throbby clubs and more for unending night-time drives.
Luneworks is out 11 March on OYAE/Because.
