Mitski's covers of Bleachers' "Let's Get Married" and "Mickey Mantle Comes Alive" surface online
Mitski's covers of Bleachers' "Let's Get Married" and "Mickey Mantle Comes Alive" are up online to download for free.
The two tracks are part of Jack Antonoff's forthcoming covers vinyl, Terrible Thrills Vol. 3, which features the likes of Lucy Dacus, MUNA, and more covering his Bleachers Gone Now record.
Responding to the free download of Mitski's covers online, Antonoff stated, "the vinyl will never be repressed but feel free to share the music online. i love these recordings and want them to be passed around."
In a separate tweet, Antonoff added, "also mitski’s version of let’s get married is how it sounded when i first wrote it. drums and big production came later."
