Mitski and David Byrne's Everything Everywhere All at Once duet "This Is A Life" has arrived
Son Lux have unveiled Mitski and David Byrne's new duet "This Is A Life", which will feature on their score for the upcoming film Everything Everywhere All at Once.
Everything Everywhere All at Once, directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, will be accompanied by a huge 49-track album, which will include Son Lux's original score, as well as new music from Moses Sumney, and contributions from André 3000, Randy Newman and Stephanie Hsu.
Today (8 March) Mitski and David Byrne's "This Is A Life" duet has been unveiled.
Son Lux said of the score, "Even though we knew from the moment Daniels asked us to score this film that it would push us in new and unexpected directions, we couldn’t have predicted how much we’d learn from the project. What emerged was our most ambitious undertaking to date, over two years in the making, resulting in two hours of new music. It was an opportunity for us to play, to infuse humor into our work, and to experiment from and beyond our various musical backgrounds."
