Missy Elliott drops new track "Pep Rally" during Super Bowl ad break
Missy Elliott has released a new track called "Pep Rally" during last night's Super Bowl 50
The tune follows "WTF (Where They From)", which hit our ears in November last year, breaking years of silence as a lead artist.
"Pep Rally" was actually shared a few hours ahead of the big game, but its 'official premiere' was in ad for Amazon's Echo device, which aired during a Super Bowl 50 commercial break. The ad starred Elliott alongside Alec Baldwin, Jason Schwartzman, and Dan Marino, and arrives on the anniversary of her appearance at the Super Bowl with Katy Perry.
It's still unknown whether Elliott is preparing a record or not, but if one does materialise, it'll be her first since 2005.
