Ministry's Al Jourgensen working on new projects with Lil Wayne and Trent Reznor
Industrial pioneers, Ministry are set to release their 13th studio album in September, what frontman Al Jourgensen labels as their last ever.
Jourgensen has told Billboard that 2there’s no new Ministry studio CDs coming ever again. I promise”, instead opting to focus on two new side-project with two big-name but very diverse collaborators.
The first seems more natural, with the Cuban-American musician teaming up with Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor. This’ll be an “all-star affair” intended to “wrap a bow on the entire industrial era”.
The later venture, however, is with rapper Lil Wayne. It’s also a little more vague: ”I don’t know what the hell’s gonna happen with that one”.
New album From Beer to Eternity on 6 September.
