The title track from Millionyoung’s debut album, ‘Replicants’ is a rich, hazy mix of ambient electronica and dream pop that has been perfectly synced up with stop-animation footage from two short films. The sun-soaked, tropical atmosphere of George Pal’s 1941 ‘Hoola Boola’ and 1938’s ‘South Sea Sweethearts’ accompany the playful, upbeat synths from Floridian vocalist, guitarist and programmer Mike Diaz.
