Miley Cyrus joins Primavera Sound 2019 lineup as replacement for Cardi B
Miley Cyrus has been announced for Barcelona's Primavera Sound after Cardi B cancelled.
Cardi B has pulled out of Primavera Sound festival due to "promotional commitments in the US that can't be postponed".
The rapper was supposed to headline the festival on Friday 31 May, but now Miley Cyrus has been announced as the replacement. Those who have bought a ticket for the Friday that wanted to see Cardi B are able to get a refund.
We regret to announce that Cardi B will not perform at #PS19. The American artist has cancelled her appearance due to promotional commitments in the U.S. that cannot be postponed.

Miley Cyrus will perform on the same day as Robyn, Janelle Monáe, Carly Rae Jepsen, and many more.
Other artists playing this year's Primavera Sound include Erykah Badu, Interpol, Tame Impala, Rosalía, Mac DeMarco, James Blake, Charli XCX, and many more. It's the first festival to announce an even gender split.
