Miley Cyrus announces new live album featuring covers and unreleased songs
Miley Cyrus has announced her upcoming live album Attention: Miley Live, which will feature fan favourites, covers, and unreleased songs.
Cyrus announced Attention: Miley Live on socials yesterday (27 March), and it'll be her first live album under her own name, following 2008's Best of Both Worlds Concert album.
The new live album will feature 20 tracks in total from across her Plastic Hearts (2020), Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz (2015), Bangerz (2013), The Time of Our Lives (2009), Breakout (2008), and Meet Miley Cyrus (2007) albums, as well as covers of Pixies' "Where Is My Mind?", Blondie's "Heart of Glass", Dolly Parton's "Jolene", Cher's "Bang Bang", Sinéad O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U", Madonna's "Like A Prayer" and more.
Attention: Miley Live will also include the unreleased tracks "Attention" and "You". Cyrus first teased "Attention" during the Super Bowl Music Fest, and she debuted "You" live during a New Year’s Eve concert.
On Instagram, Cyrus wrote, "This isn’t just MY live album this is OUR album! My fans & I collaborated on this set list! I asked YOU what you wanted to hear & I put together a show trying to fulfill as many requests as possible! I love you so much! Thank you for all of your loyalty and support over the last 16 years! This record is the least I can do to try and show my appreciation for your dedication! We’re in this together forever!"
