Mikky Ekko details forthcoming FAME album with dreamy new track "Cherish You"
Mikky Ekko reveals new track "Cherish You", which will appear on his long-awaited record FAME.
Rihanna-collaborator and singer/songwriter Mikky Ekko is back with a lustful new cut "Cherish You".
Alongside his new track, the artist has revealed the release date for FAME, which will follow on from his Advance Copy EP that arrived earlier this year.
"Cherish You" is a new track to be revealed from his forthcoming record, which will feature all five tracks from his previous EP.
Speaking about his forthcoming album, Mikky Ekko says, "The album is me finding my way through a labyrinth and the emotions I experienced along the way. Anyone can fake it...it's easy to put on hats, show people one thing and mime the rest...but at the end of the day you have to look at yourself in the mirror and say "this is who I am", and I wanted to give people access to who I am with this album."
The new record was made in Nashville's The Vault and Neon Cross studios, featuring production from Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Little Big Town, FIDLAR).
