Miguel facing lawsuit after Billboard Awards 'leg drop' on fan
Miguel has been threatened with the prospect of a court case following his recent performance mishap at the 2013 Billboard Awards.
The incident came during the R&B singer’s live rendition of ‘Adorn’, when Miguel attempted to jump over from one platform to another over a crowd of spectators. Instead, he accidentally fell and landed upon one fan, Khyati Shah.
Shah is now said to be contemplating legal action after her injuries have worsened over the following days. Her attorney, Vip Bohla is reported as saying that a decision will be made “after we have feedback from medical providers”.
Miguel’s advisers, on the other hand, look willing to agree to an out of court settlement. Here’s the fiasco again, below:
