Michelle Obama says Beyoncé's "Break My Soul" is "the song we all need right now"
Beyoncé fan Michelle Obama has praised the star's new single "Break My Soul", saying it's "the song we all need right now."
Yesterday (21 June) Beyoncé returned with her first Renaissance single "Break My Soul", which samples Robin S.'s "Show Me Love" and features Big Freedia.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama took to Twitter yesterday to praise her new single, writing, "Queen Beyoncé, you’ve done it again! "Break My Soul" is the song we all need right now, and I can't help but dance and sing along while listening to it. Can’t wait for the album!"

"Break My Soul" is Beyoncé's first new outing since contributing "Be Alive" to the King Richard film soundtrack in November last year.
Renaissance will be Beyoncé's first solo album since 2016's Lemonade. She did team up with Jay-Z on Everything Is Love in 2018, and also released the soundtrack album The Lion King: The Gift in 2019.
