Michael Eavis says the next Glastonbury 2020 headliner will be announced in January
Michael Eavis has revealed that they'll announce the Sunday night headliner for Glastonbury 2020 in January.
So far, only two acts have been confirmed for Glastonbury's 50th anniversary celebrations next summer - Paul McCartney (Saturday night headliner), and Diana Ross (Sunday legends slot).
According to NME, Michael Eavis revealed to students at Somerset’s Warminster School on Monday (9 December) that the Sunday night headliner will be announced in the new year. He said, "The top headliner for the Sunday night is going to be announced on the 15th of January. That’s going to be big news, yeah…I’m absolutely thrilled about it."

Last week, Aerosmith announced that they would be performing at Glastonbury on the Saturday (27 June) via their tour schedule mail-out to fans. The UK festival is yet to confirm the news - but if it is true, they won't be headlining as McCartney has already claimed the Saturday night headliner slot.
In November, Emily Eavis said there will be "Pyramid level headliners" on the Other Stage at Glastonbury 2020.
