Mica Levi releases surprise debut solo album Ruff Dog
Mica Levi has surprise-released their debut solo album Ruff Dog today (16 December).
Despite making music for film scores and with their Good Sad Happy Bad band (formerly Micachu and the Shapes) over the past decade, Mica Levi has only released their debut solo album Ruff Dog today (16 December).
Mica Levi's 11-track album was released without any warning, and follows Good Sad Happy Bad's Shades album that landed in October.
The album features one of the longest track titles seen in a while - "A plain clothed Jimi Hendrix drives me to Newcastle. For some reason the trip will take 3 days and he is going to do it for £150. He drives really smoothly and only listens to one album which is by someone with Joy in their name".
