
Metronomy, Courtney Barnett, and Daughters of Reykjavík among first names for Iceland Airwaves 2020
Iceland Airwaves have revealed the first names joining them in Reykjavík later this year, including Metronomy, Courtney Barnett, Daughters of Reykjavík, and more.
Courtney Barnett will perform an intimate solo set at the Icelandic festival later this year, which will also host performances from the likes of Black Pumas, Squid, The Murder Capital, Dry Cleaning, Sin Fang, Erika De Casier, Dorian Electra, Chlobocop, Tami T, and more.

2020 marks the 22nd annual edition of Iceland Airwaves. The festival is expected to see over 8,000 international visitors from 60 countries, and was nominated for Best Small Festival at the NME Awards last night (12 February).
Last year's event hosted performnces from Whitney, Mac DeMarco, Of Monsters and Men, Girl in Red, Anna Of The North, Shame, Georgia, Vök, JFDR, Mammút, Orville Peck, John Grant, and many others.
