Metric announce sixth LP Pagans In Vegas, share new single "Cascades"
Canadian synthpop legends Metric have announced their long-awaited sixth record, Pagans In Vegas, and shared a new preview called "Cascades".
"Cascades" follows last month's single "The Shade", and features the band employ squelchy synths, modern Moroder vocoder, and mechanical beats. Talking about the future-pop ode, the outfit said:
People of Tomorrow, here it is! "Cascades", the song we consider the pounding heart of our new album, Pagans in Vegas... as always, we encourage you to sing along with the robots. "Just keep...going strong...with whatever it is...that's compelling you on." Xo metriclovesyou
Pagans In Vegas is out on 18 September.
