Currently FKA Twigs is favourite to win the £20,000 prize for her record LP1, according to William Hill.
The odds on Tahliah Barnett winning have been slashed from 5/2 to 2/1 - her closest competitor is Kate Tempest, currently standing on 11/4.
Behind them is Royal Blood at 5/1.
Speaking to the Official Chart Company about the news, Barnett said:
"I didn't know I was a favourite but I don't feel any pressure beyond that... all I can do now is concentrate on creating more work and creating more videos and becoming a better producer."
