Mercury Prize 2013 nominations revealed
Today at a ceremony in central London, the list of acts nominated for this year’s Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize were unveiled – with the likes of Jon Hopkins, Savages and Disclosure leading the shortlist.
The Barclaycard Mercury Prize annually heralds the best album produced over the past 12 months by a UK or Irish-born band or artist, with last year’s accolade going to Alt-J for An Awesome Wave.
