Grunge legends the Melvins have announced a five-week trek through the United States in celebration of the band turning 30.
The tour starts on 12 July in Phoenix and wraps up in San Francisco on 22 August. Frontman Buzz Osbourne said of the anniversary:
“Has it really only been 30 years? Dang! Thanks to everyone who’s been there for us! It’s been an exciting trip and I probably should have listened and learned more. I apologize for anything I’ve ever done wrong and for anything I’m going to do wrong… Ha!”
Additionally, they have a covers album coming out next week called Everybody Loves Sausages. The album includes interpretations of Queen, Roxy Music and Venom, and you stream it over at Spin.
