Melody's Echo Chamber shares first update since "serious accident" over the summer
Melody's Echo Chamber (aka Melody Prochet) has shared her first update since suffering a "serious accident" over the summer.
"Melody suffered a serious accident earlier this month," reads a statement posted by Prochet's family in June. "We are optimistic, but she needs to be in the hospital for a few more months. Due to these circumstances, Melody’s upcoming tour has been cancelled. But she is hopeful to be able to play shows again soon."
Prochet has thanked fans for their support over the past months in a new post shared on Facebook:
Before the accident five months ago, Prochet was busy teasing new record Bon Voyage - her first since her Kevin Parker-produced debut in 2012. It's unknown at this point when she'll pick up the campaign again, but it's good to see she's on the mend.
