Megan Thee Stallion shares picture of gunshot wound after being accused of lying
Megan Thee Stallion shared a picture of her gunshot wound on social media after trolls accused her of lying about being shot.
Last month, Megan Thee Stallion revealed she "suffered gunshot wounds", and added that she was "incredibly grateful to be alive".
She later revealed that she was shot in both feet, and said she "had to get surgery to get the shit taken out, get the bullets taken out, and it was super scary."
The rapper got emotional while telling fans about her injuries on Instagram last month, and said, "But yeah I had to get surgery, it was super scary, it was just the worst experience of my life, and it’s not funny."
Despite sharing details with fans, a number of trolls still chose not to believe her, resulting in Megan Thee Stallion sharing (and later deleting) an image of her wound.
She wrote in the now-deleted post, "Lol what I have learned abt majority of the people on social media is y’all like to hear bad news before good news, a lie spreads quicker than the truth, and y’all really be believing the shit YALL make up."
The Houston rapper continued, "I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. Why would I lie abt getting shot? Why are y’all so upset that I don’t wanna be in the bed sad? Why y’all upset that I can walk?"
