Megan Thee Stallion reveals she "suffered gunshot wounds" on Sunday
Megan Thee Stallion has revealed in her latest Instagram post that she "suffered gunshot wounds" on Sunday (12 July).
The Houston rapper revealed she's "incredibly grateful to be alive" and is "expected to make a full recovery" after being shot last weekend.
Megan Thee Stallion didn't reveal the full extent of the details, but explained on her post that she "suffered gunshot wounds as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me."
She shared the post to "clarify the details about this traumatic night", presumably in response to TMZ's initial story which reported Megan Thee Stallion has cut her foot open on broken glass.
The rapper says in her post that she was "never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets."
She wraps up her statement by revealing she's "focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible."
