Matty Healy's a sweet, sad clown in The 1975's new vid for "A Change Of Heart"
The 1975 have revealed the rather sweet black-and-white visuals for upcoming single "A Change Of Heart".
This is the latest in a string of excellent videos from the Manchester-based indie outfit. We've already got the superbly tongue-in-cheek middle finger of "The Sound", "UGH!"'s neon furore, and their celeb send-up "Love Me".
"A Change Of Heart" is a different kind of clip, courtesy of Tim Mattia - it focuses on frontman Matty Healy and his objet d'amour. Both are dressed up as silent movie-era clowns, and shot in black and white as they cavort around a carnival. It's oddly sweet, unless you're scared of clowns. Then it's probably quite creepy.
"A Change Of Heart" is out 27 May on Dirty Hit/Polydor. It's taken from lauded second LP I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It.
