Matty Healy gives update on Drive Like I Do material, says "It’s not a full album"
The 1975's Matty Healy has given an update on new Drive Like I Do material, revealing that it's "not a full album".
In December 2020 The 1975's Matty Healy launched a new Instagram account for Drive Like I Do, which is what The 1975 were called before they became The 1975.
After sharing an image of Drive Like I Do performing in Newcastle back in 2005 in December, one fan commented: "we want a new DLID record :(." Healy simply responded, "ok".
Last month Drive Like I Do uploaded a captionless video that plays a few seconds of lo-fi guitar over a picture of a field from outside the gate, hinting that new music might be on the way.
Yesterday (14 February) Healy shared an update via his personal Instagram. He shared a selfie and wrote, "Finishing DLID today", and followed it up with another image of a drum kit, writing, "It's not a full album you guys r crazy."
