Matty Healy compares The 1975's upcoming album to first EP's, says it "feels like those records"

Matty Healy's first tweet of 2019 is a reflective one that binds The 1975's first EP releases (Facedown, Sex, Music For Cars, IV) with their highly-anticipated fourth album Notes On A Conditional Form.

"Our colllection of EP’s, and the time in which they came out etc, feels very particular to me now," Healy states, before adding, "Maybe that’s due to retrospect, who knows. But Notes On A Conditional Form feels like that time. It feels like those records."

The reflective tweet arrives a couple of weeks after Healy stated their next album is "very homely".

Notes On A Conditional Form will follow on from 2018's A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships.

Healy and co are already appearing to be favourites among the global festival circuit next summer, having already been confirmed to play Super Bock Super Rock, Sziget, Mad Cool, FIB Benicàssim, and Reading & Leeds.
