Matt Sweeney and Bonnie "Prince" Billy's cover of Cat Stevens’ "But I Might Die Tonight" is online
Matt Sweeney and Bonnie "Prince" Billy's cover of Yusuf / Cat Stevens' "But I Might Die Tonight" for the virtual CatSong Festival has appeared online.
Earlier this month the likes of Haim, Feist, Bonnie "Prince" Billy and Matt Sweeney, Sad13, Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Brandon Boyd of Incubus, Passenger, Imelda May and more took part in the virtual CatSong Festival event that celebrated the 50th anniversary of Yusuf / Cat Stevens' Tea for the Tillerman and Mona Bone Jakon albums.
While Haim and Feist's contributions were made available online after the event, Bonnie "Prince" Billy and Matt Sweeney's appearance/cover has been uploaded to YouTube by Drag City.
It's a cover of Yusuf / Cat Stevens' "But I Might Die Tonight", and sees Sweeney playing guitar while Bonnie "Prince" Billy, aka Will Oldham, sings with his child on his lap.
Last month Sweeney and Oldham teamed up to release their new single "Make Worry For Me".
