Matt Maltese recruits Vegyn for production on new single "Jupiter"
Matt Maltese is back with another preview of his Krystal album in the form of "Jupiter", which features production from Frank Ocean collaborator Vegyn.
"Jupiter" is the third preview of Krystal, following previous singles "Rom Com Gone Wrong" and "Curl Up & Die".
The new offering also sees Maltese work with Frank Ocean collaborator Vegyn, who provides production on "Jupiter".
Speaking about the new single, Maltese says, "It’s a song about pining, filled with desperation and delusion. A kind of melodramatic love-song for astronauts."
Krystal will follow on from Maltese's 2018 debut LP Bad Contestant.
The new record is produced by Maltese himself. Expanding on why he chose to take on producing his own record, Maltese says, "I’ve never been one to waste a good crisis and I felt like I could direct all this lost, chaotically up and down energy into a big task like this."
