Matt Berry announces new album Music For Insomniacs

Actor-come-musician Matt Berry may be better known for his roles in The Mighty Boosh, IT Crowd and more, but he’s also four albums under his belt too. And now he’s confirmed another, entitled Music For Insomniacs.
“Insomnia was something I suffered on my own” he writes about the LP’s inspiration. “So I wanted the creation of this album to be an equally solitary experience. It had to be completely personal so I knew I had to record every note myself.”
The album will be released on Acid Jazz come 19 May, with single “Music For Insomniacs Part IV” preceding it on Record Store Day (19 April). Listen to that lead track below:
