Matt Berninger shares full collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers "Walking On A String"
The National's Matt Berninger has shared new Phoebe Bridgers collaboration "Walking On A String" which featured on Netflix's Between Two Ferns: The Movie.
Last month, Zach Galifianakis' new film Between Two Ferns: The Movie was added to Netflix, and featured a scene in a bar where Berninger, Bridgers, and members of The Walkmen were performing new song "Walking On A String".
Today Berninger and Bridgers have shared their new collaboration in full.
It's the first time Bridgers and Berninger have teamed up on a song. "Walking on a String" was written by Berninger and his wife, alongside The National collaborator Carin Besser and musician Mike Brewer. It was recorded with Walter Martin and Matt Barrick of The Walkmen and features production from Bridgers, Tony Berg, and Ethan Gruska.
The National released their latest album I Am Easy To Find in May.
Back in July it looked like Bridgers was working with Perfume Genius on new music. Last month she revealed on Instagram that she was "finishing an album" and will perform new tracks at London's MIRRORS Festival on 2 November.
