The National's Matt Berninger covers Velvet Underground's "I'm Waiting for the Man" on Fallon
Matt Berninger of The National performed a cover of The Velvet Underground's "I'm Waiting for the Man" during last night's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
During last night's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Matt Berninger performed a cover of The Velvet Underground's "I'm Waiting for the Man", which Fallon mistakenly introduced as a track from Berninger's debut solo album Serpentine Prison.
Berninger did actually record a cover of The Velvet Underground and Nico's "European Son" with Booker T for his Serpentine Prison album, which was later scrapped.
In November Berninger featured on a new version of Hannah Georgas' "Pray It Away" single.
