Master Peace is set to drop his debut EP Love Bites tomorrow
The rising London-based artist is getting ready to drop his new six-track collection this week and joins us live today (4 November) to tell us all about it.
A genre-blending risk-taker, Love Bites features previously single "PNE", "Regular Feelings" and last month's pre-release single "Eyes On You".
Breaking out with a freestyle over A-Ha's "Take On Me", his sound owed more to grime than it did to indie heavyweights. Winning early co-signs from all corners of the industry, Jme jumped on a remix of Peace's single "Night Time" and earlier this year SG Lewis invited Master Peace to contribute a remix of his track "Chemicals".
Marking his transformation into a indie-pop frontman, as part of our Off The Road video series, hosted on our Instagram account, we'll be catching up with Master Peace about what to expect from his upcoming release.
Inspired by the alternative bands he loved growing up – from Bloc Party to No Doubt and the Arctic Monkeys – he explains “this EP is all about tapping into those teenage years, definitely, and all those bands that I loved!” explains Peace. “It’s a very playful vibe and I guess these tracks are rooted in indie as I wanted people to feel that euphoric feeling you get when you’re a teenager."
