
Massive Attack cancel summer shows due to member having a "serious illness"
Massive Attack have shared a statement cancelling their live shows in May, June and July, revealing that a member has been battling a "serious illness".
Massive Attack have pulled their upcoming summer shows in May, June and July this afternoon (24 March), and shared a statement announcing that it's due to a Massive Attack member "contending with a serious illness."
Although the statement didn't reveal which member has been ill, the statement added, "We're pleased to say that they are now in recovery."
Massive Attack also wrote, "The band deeply regret any inconvenience or disappointment caused – particularly to the fans with whom it’s always an honour to engage, and to our production crew who, owing to other global events, have already had to wait to long to do what they do so well."
