Massive Attack announce enormous homecoming all-dayer in Bristol
Massive Attack are playing a homecoming show at Bristol's Durdham Downs - the band's first show in the city in over a decade.
Skepta and Primal Scream will also be playing the all-dayer, with more TBA.
Massive Attack's 3D says of the show: “We are curating what we hope will become an annual event something made in Bristol with an international reach. We will also use the project to engage with the important social and political issues of the day."
Team Love - the folks behind Love Saves The Day festival - have curated the show with Crosstown Concerts. Team Love's Tom Paine says of the show: "We’ve been talking with the band now for many years now about trying to put a show of this scale on together – and it finally feels like the moment is right.”
The show takes place on 3 September - tickets are on sale now.
