The changes to the event come a day after Morriss was accused of being an abusive, "narcissistic, pathological liar" and a "serial predator" by his ex-wife Anna Wharton, who published a long post titled "If I’m Lying, Come Sue Me" via Substack detailing her experience, along with messages from other women about Morriss.
Wharton, who is also a journalist, wrote that she uploaded the post about Morriss to "protect other women", and concluded her post by writing, "I gave Mark the opportunity for a right of reply but none was forthcoming."
