Marika Hackman's album is probably called I'm Not Your Man
Marika Hackman's upcoming second LP has been given a title, artwork, and a tracklist.
A new piece on Creative Review takes a deep look at the excellent art by Tristan Pigott, confirming a title and tracklist along the way. There's still a distinct lack of release date, but a Sub Pop logo hints at a US deal with the iconic label.
Hackman talks to Creative Review about the art of her We Slept At Last follow up: "There’s a lot of stuff in there which I think is really fun. It was fun to think of and when I’m looking at record sleeves, that’s what I want to look for and discover. It’s a much more exciting prospect than taking a picture of my face and putting it on the cover."
Hackman made her return with "Boyfriend" earlier this month, showcasing a full-band sound with pals The Big Moon.
