Marika Hackman unveils passionate new single "all night"
Marika Hackman has shared sensual new single "all night" from her forthcoming album Any Human Friend.
"all night" is the third single to be shared from her third album, after "i'm not where you are" and "the one".
Speaking about her latest offering, Hackman says, "I thought it would be exciting to write a really overtly sexual song about a woman from the perspective of a woman. You don’t hear much about sex between women in music, or if you do its usually from a fetishised male perspective, I thought I’d reclaim a bit of that power."
In a recent interview with Best Fit, Hackman said of her new album, "I'm baring my soul, warts and all so that people can listen to it and be like, ‘It's okay to be like this sometimes. It's okay to show my ugly side because that's part of being human’. It's not this fucking Instagram picture-perfect smiley-smiley thing all the time. And the more you hear people being real about their experiences, the more you feel better in your own skin."
