Marika Hackman has shared "My Lover Cindy", another track from upcoming second record I'm Not Your Man.
The track follows the stunning "Boyfriend", a raucous descent into rock'n'roll full of with seething snarls. "My Lover Cindy" is peppier counterpoint, with dreamy licks aplenty and lots of summery attitude.
Speaking about the LP's amped-up tones, Hackman explains: "I wanted to let rip and lose control. That's the kind of music I've always wanted to make. When I was younger I wasn't looking at Joni Mitchell. I was looking at Nirvana thinking, 'I wanna be like that!'"
The eagerly awaited record will follow 2015 debut We Slept At Last.
