Marika Hackman drops new tune "Open Wide"
Marika Hackman is sharing "Open Wide", another new song from upcoming debut LP We Slept At Last.
Unlike previous offerings, "Open Wide" sees Hackman descend into a grunge-y, shoegaze-y world. Drenched in swollen riffs, encumbered by distortion, reverb and a plethora of other pedalboard FX, we see Hackman's arsenal expand once more, in much darker ways than previously showcased.
She's demostrated great depth of talent in the tracks she's pushed forth ahead of the release of her debut; it's shaping up to be an exciting affair indeed.
We Slept At Last is set for release 16 February on Dirty Hit.
Stream "Open Wide" below, and then check out Hackman's upcoming tour dates after.
