Marcus Mumford's debut solo album to feature Phoebe Bridgers, Clairo and more
Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons has shared news of his debut solo album (self-titled), which is set for release in September and will feature appearances from Phoebe Bridgers, Clairo and more.
After sharing a few solo clips from the studio on socials over the past couple of months, Marcus Mumford has announced his debut solo album (self-titled).
In a post shared on socials featuring a handwritten note, Mumford wrote, "In January 2021, facing demons I danced with for a long time in isolation, I wrote a song called "Cannibal". I took it to my friend Blake Mills, and we began the process of making the album, dear to my heart, called (self-titled)."
"It comes out September 16th 2022," Mumford added. "Produced by Blake Mills, and featuring Brandi Carlile, Phoebe Bridgers, Clairo and Monica Martin."
